Transforming Lives and Building Futures
A Christ-centered pathway that helps people rebuild their lives over time through structured care, mentoring, and community.
Who We Are
Across the D.C. area, many people face barriers to housing, employment, and long-term support without consistent guidance or community. We exist to change that by providing care, opportunity, and a faith-driven community that supports lasting transformation.
Project Nehemiah exists to support transformation through Christ-centered care, practical resources, and community partnerships.

Our Programs Purpose
How People Change Curriculum
The How People Change curriculum helps participants understand the motivations behind their actions and provides practical guidance to shift unhealthy patterns toward a deeper love for God and others. Each lesson includes teaching, discussion, real-life application, and guided group conversation.
The Crossroads Curriculum
The Crossroads curriculum helps participants navigate addiction through a clear biblical framework for change and renewal. Guided by a biblical counselor, participants learn to recognize patterns, choose wisdom, and grow in hope through grace, truth, and consistent support.
Instrument In The Redeemer’s Hands
Instrument in the Redeemer’s Hands helps participants pursue lasting transformation while understanding how God brings change in everyday life. Through teaching, discussion, and practical application, participants grow in awareness, responsibility, and relational impact.
